Getting Port Moody to RibFest

Port Moody Rotary RibFest, March to July 2026

Port Moody RibFest is put on by the Rotary Club of Port Moody and its volunteers. All proceeds go back to supporting Rotary projects.

The festival happens over one weekend, but the work of getting people there runs for months before it. It also isn’t the only RibFest in the region. For-profit ribfests in Chilliwack and Mission buy ad space in the same feeds, so Port Moody’s event had to be clearly its own.

What we did

We made the content.

Over the season, the RibFest accounts published 110 posts. We made 42 of them, including 27 reels and 16 photo posts.

We ran the ads.
Seven Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, with $1,834.73 in total spend.

We brought in partners.
We set up collaboration posts with other Instagram accounts and made content with Grizzly BBQ. The best organic Instagram post of the season was a collaboration reel with @dar.vancouver. It reached 26,100 people.

Running an annual event?

Port Moody Rotary RibFest needed people to know about one weekend, months before it happened. If that sounds like your event, we’d like to hear about it.
